A diagnostic colonoscopy via stoma examines the large intestine by inserting a thin, flexible camera through a surgically created stoma opening in the abdomen rather than through the rectum. This diagnostic exam allows the doctor to inspect the colon lining and may include small biopsies or simple polyp removal as part of the assessment, but does not involve advanced surgical treatment. You will receive sedation to stay comfortable, and bowel preparation beforehand is required. Most patients go home the same day.

A SSP combines all medical services, materials, and fees associated with a healthcare visit or procedure into a single bundle to offer a more comprehensive estimate.
